Job Description:
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Salesforce platform. This includes creating custom workflows, custom objects, Apex code, and Visualforce pages. The developer will work with other members of the development team, as well as with business stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop custom Salesforce solutions, including workflows, custom objects, Apex code, and Visualforce pages.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Design and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Test and deploy custom solutions in Salesforce.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Salesforce solutions.
• Maintain and update existing Salesforce solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that custom solutions are aligned with the overall architecture and roadmap.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and developments.
• Follow best practices and standards for Salesforce development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Experience in an Agile organization
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
· Ability to use business acumen to develop solutions to functional and technical
issues and be results driven
· In-depth application troubleshooting skills
· Understanding of regulations applicable to IT applications (GxP, SOX, GDPR)
