We at PayNearby are redefining the way how Bharat interacts with Finance. Backend Engineering team is at the core of PayNearby Engineering. We are building the next-generation Payments, Insurance and Travel platform. You will be responsible for designing & developing curated products. You will build robust, secure and scalable micro services and manage your day to day activities within an Agile/Scrum environment. What you will do
Work with different teams to develop innovative solutions and features that meet market needs w.r.t functionality, performance, reliability, realistic implementations schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.
Build reusable, high-quality, clean, elegant, bug-free code and libraries which can be used across multiple projects
Ability to reduce tech debt and have a plan to remove them from the system.
Follow, implement the right engineering practices and culture
Code reviews, test-automation for your modules, contribute to road map development
What we’re looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
Building scalable microservices or applications using Java.
3-5 years of experience in building scalable, robust and secure applications.
Experience with frameworks like Spring mvc, Spring boot, Hibernate
Experience in Restful API’s, database designing and optimization – MySQL preferred.
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and knowledge of front-end engineering.
Self-driven and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location – Mumbai / Chennai / Work from home
