Senior-Level Mapper Developer
The Mapping Development team is looking for a Sr-Level Mapper Developer who will primarily be responsible develop, enhance and maintain the Java code for the processes that gather data out of input files, in standardized formats (EDI, Edifact, Excel, CSV etc.), and transform it into our internal format. The internal format will then be loaded in various Tangoe products for our customers.
The Mapper Developer would need to understand Data Analysis documentation and implement the code according to requirements, while also being proactive in determining input data limitations and finding solutions to respect the Data Analysis as closely as possible, providing strong feedback to Analysts and QA. Occasionally the mapper developer would have to read and learn through some legacy systems code without any detailed documentation. The Mapper Developer will also have to configure and install the processes into production servers and understand what other auxiliary processes are applied to the data files going through the system.
The Sr-Level Mapper Developer should also have some team management skills like, should be able to mentor / coach the Mid-level developer both technically and functionally and help in setting the right direction with the analysis part. Should be able to help in time management and prioritizing the tasks. Sometimes needs to hand hold the Jr developers until they reach to expert level mostly with decision making skills.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, development and troubleshooting of Tangoe's applications including general support, maintenance, testing and documentation
• Research and integrate third-part libraries as needed insofar as they bring additional efficiencies and increase speed-to-market

• Documenting project tasks and milestones
• Adapt and be flexible when project scope and priorities shift
• Recommending enhancements that provide a strategic advantage
• Suggesting general improvements based on evolution of technology and available libraries
Required Qualifications
• 5-6 years of Strong Java SE knowledge and experience (Java 8 is preferred)
• 2-3 years of Good SQL and PL/SQL knowledge (Oracle or PostgreSQL is preferred)
• Experience with either Eclipse (or similar IDEs based on this platform) or IntelliJ and working with Subversion software (SVN, Git etc.)
• Good analytical skills
• Good time Management skills - organized and planned with multitasking, Prioritizing, Delegation, Decision-making, problem solving, strategic thinking and scheduling ability which helps in managing the tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Good English skills
Desired Qualifications
• Basic understanding of Spring, Hibernate framework.
• Experience with Account Billing Concepts (Invoices, Accounts, Line Items, etc.)
• Experience with Telecom/Telephony types of invoices
• Good/Basic Linux Shell Scripting knowledge
