The Azure for Operators team (A4O) is at the forefront of this change, developing global communication core and edge technologies that help Telco Operators, Enterprise, and Government to accelerate this transformation through Azure.
We are looking for a developer to join the Unity Cloud Ops team based in Bangalore. Our team provides cloud orchestration capabilities and operational visibility for deployments of Microsoft's 5G core solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will be working on exciting technology, both proprietary and open source in a virtualized Cloud Native environment. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate in the areas of cloud-based deployments, highly available systems and has special interest in automation and manageability of network functions.
You will be responsible for the design and development of software that provides insight into the operation of the 5G network. You will collaborate extensively with platform and network function teams across regions to drive solutions and deliver them.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years working experience in building large-scale web server application using Java.
Strong background in Linux and MySQL.
Good at perl and shell programming
Experience with REST APIs, web-based application development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Life-cycle management, orchestration, automation, observability, network management application.
Experience with NFVI such as ESXi, VCenter, or Openstack is desirable.
Experience with Javascript, JSP/struts framework is desirable.
Familiarity with Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GC)
Strong problem-solving skills and customer support experience.
Excellent communication skills as well as unwavering commitment to collaborate within and across functional teams to get the job done.
Detail oriented design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
