Position Purpose

Responsible for delivering the Project, Plan and run the project on daily basis.

Direct Responsibilities
• Developed, implement and optimize database stored procedures and functions.
• Research & analyze required data. (Added advantage)
• Developed stored procedures & queries for data migration, testing, or any other required activity
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvement and suggest new queries
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in .net with VB or Asp.net with C#.
• Developed, test & deploy applications, web-services. Understanding of XSLT template.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Must have knowledge of application security, VAPT & other security related technologies
• Modified or add new pages in existing vb.net or asp.net based application.
• Review & interpret ongoing business issues or new requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Good understanding of how to investigate, debug & finding root cause of given problem, whether in database or front end code(Asp.net with C#). (Must to have)
• Provide timely schedule management reporting
• Create technical specification documents and test plans

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
• Minimum bachelor degree in Engineering or M.SC or MCA or B.SC with 4+ years
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or ASP.NET Developer or VB.Net Developer
• Good-Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
• Familiarity with ASP.NET framework, .NET FRAMEWORK, Forms, SQL Server in an n-tier architecture
• Experience with REST API, Web Services, WCF, API and Service Oriented Architecture a plus
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Strong background in object oriented development techniques
• Ready to take ownership and sense of pride in his/her performance (Must)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies & SDLC
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (MUST)
• Critical thinker and problem solving skills & attention to details
• Team player
• Inventory/Retail/POS domain knowledge is good to have.

Specific Qualifications
• Master or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as SQL Developer or ASP.NET Developer or VB.Net Developer
• Experience in Inventory/Retail/POS domain.
