About the role
We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Software Engineer, you’ll:
Develop and deliver software solutions aligned with ART’s strategic goals and business needs.
Analyse, document, and implement changes and unit tests based on change requests.
Diagnose and resolve incidents, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
Assist in software configuration and platform-specific testing.
Investigate system and service issues and support the implementation of preventative measures.
Design, code, test, and document moderately complex programs and scripts.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, tools, and processes.
Ability to adapt and are committed to continuous learning.
Participate in planning, estimation, and feasibility assessments across platforms.
These roles are 12- month max-term contract opportunities.
Location: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in .NET/C# development.
Knowledge of Appian and/or BizTalk would be favourable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in software development tools and frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
Experience with integration projects is desirable.
Knowledge of relational databases management software/SQL.
Experience with version control tools and automated build processes.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, release coordination, and QA processes.
Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver outcomes in a team environment.
