Job Title – Software Engineer - C++ Algo Trading
The Purpose of This Role
The Software Engineer will be working towards development, delivery and support of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. This role will involve partner and stakeholder engagement, design and release support.

• Designing and implementing technology solutions for the Capital Markets business
• Develop high performing algorithms for trading/crypto trading
• Working closely with our business partners to contribute to business-critical initiatives
• Demonstrate software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment
• Adept in IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit the team and improves its productivity; guides junior team members on technology
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery
• Follows practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity

Technical / Behavioral
• You have excellent proficiency in C++
• You have excellent proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• You have proficiency in multi-processing and parallel computing
• You have experience and expertise in profiling and performance turning software
• You have proficiency in enterprise design patterns
• You have proficiency in SQL
• Ability to drive mature delivery practices through automation
• You are proficient with CI & CD tools
• You have the drive and ability to deliver software with a high degree of automation
• You are proficient with version control systems and can handle development for multiple releases in parallel
• You have the spirit and willingness to contribute to organization level innovation
• You have a learning mindset and can demonstrate versatility in addition to your specialization
• You should have the ability to work effectively with both partners and project team members
• You know Agile methodologies or iterative development processes
• You know Acceptance test-driven development a plus.

• Experience in Capital markets specifically with exposure to Trading, Algo Trading
• Experience working with TimeSeries Data, specifically tick by tick data

FBT (Fidelity Brokerage Technology) – provides a wide range of brokerage technology solutions for our FI technology and business partners. Our team provides technology services in the area of development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support of mission critical brokerage applications. The FBT platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds, and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.
The Expertise we’re looking for
• BE / MTech / MCA
• 2+ years of IT experience as a developer
Location : Bangalore
Shift timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
