About Application Support Engineer role
As a Application support Engineer, you will support with high passion to innovate engineering solutions for customers for tickets received from support teams and quick resolution of bugs, glitches and queries to ensure a flawless usage of our suite of products.
Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
• Must be able to write complex SQL codes, code procedures, triggers and get complex data from databases.
• Must be able to do scripting, command line interfacing, API interfaces and cloud based services.
• Must be able to write utilities, programs and well versed in programming languages like Python, powershell.
• Provide engineering support of our incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting and debugging, with responsibilities covering multiple product lines.
• Work on maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in mobile/ web technologies, and .Net based projects.
• Read and make code fixes to resolve support issues
• Software deployment support in staging and production environments.
• Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance.
• System and support status reporting.
• Ownership of one or more digital products or components.
• Customer notification and workflow coordination and follow-up to maintain service level agreements.
Required skillset
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology or a related field
• Proven track record in working on enterprise level large scale n-tier applications.
• Support experience in .Net/ Microsoft technologies - Preferred.
• Understanding and creating complex SQL codes and generating SQL reports, APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira is a great plus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues in complex enterprise level applications.
• Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving and operational excellence.
• 5+ years overall Application support/ Product Support experience.
