About the Role
As a Software Engineer at CareerXperts Consulting, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications at scale. Your primary focus will be on optimizing performance and ensuring high product quality.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, test, and deploy new functionalities. This includes refining existing tests, creating new ones, and addressing scalability challenges for features and services within your domain.
Additionally, you will work closely with management to define roadmaps and service level agreements (SLAs) for owned microservices. Conducting code reviews and promoting best software engineering practices through mentorship and guidance are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing distributed software applications at scale.
Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Go.
Solid understanding of web fundamentals and database principles, including query optimization, schema design, indexing, and caching.
Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals and familiarity with JavaScript tools, frameworks, and development practices.
Ability to articulate viewpoints and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
A strong sense of curiosity and passion for continuous learning.
