Software Engineer - Data Engineering Role & Responsibilities • Develop high-impact, user-facing features for our reporting products. • Maintain and improve various reporting pipelines. • Contribute to the development and shipping of new features and updates. • Dive into real-time web stack UI frameworks to enhance user experience. • Utilize industry-standard technologies to deliver accurate reporting data efficiently. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and release of major features. • Advocate for best practices in code development, ensuring well-tested and well-organized code. Ideal Candidate • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a tech company with a track record of delivering software with high business impact. • 2+ years of experience with Javascript or Typescript. • 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases. • 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. • Setup Data pipelines using tools such as Debezium, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and AWS Glue. • Experience setting up Kafka Connect, and scaling transformers. • Willingness to pair program, collaborate with teammates, and solve problems together. • Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies. • Experience building enterprise software is preferred.
