Your team
This role is within the Core Trade and Cash Management team in Digital Core Services which is a Group Operations and Technology division servicing UBS Asset Management. The Development team supports the main application utilized for Investment Guideline Monitoring (mandated compliance rules) - a vendor system consisting of application and database on prem as well as web services written to access common tools and APIs. The team support all of these elements in their current state with focus on capacity for integration, and a medium term requirement to extend the product capabilities utilising the latest product enhancements. The team is a multiskilled team, based in India, Switzerland and the UK with users across the globe.
Your expertise
• 5+ years of experience, held a similar developer role or support role
• strong coding skills in database technologies preferably Oracle or any relational database (SQL, PGSQL, Azure SQL)
• develop and maintain queries, stored procedures, packages, and functions
• experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Tools e.g., Splunk, Scheduling tools e.g., Batch, Autosys is useful
• troubleshoot database issues and provide operational support for production workloads
• experience with Toad, SSMS, Azure SQL IDE, VS Code, SQLPlus, sqlcmd, ODBC drivers
• familiarity with any coding (C#, Java) or scripting language (Python, Powershell) is a plus
• Experience with Latent Zero Compliance Application (Sentinel) is useful but not mandatory
