Job Description
A leading trading firm based in Chicago, is looking for a dedicated .NET Desktop Software Engineer to join their UI team. This role offers the chance to work directly with Traders, Quants, and other Software Engineers to design, build, test, and maintain real-time trading applications critical for market-makers interacting with financial markets.
This is a permanent direct hire position.
What You'll Do:
Partner with traders to optimize workflows and impact business results.
Design, build, test, and maintain .NET-based desktop and tablet trading applications.
Create visualizations to enhance trading efficiency and decision-making.
Iterate on applications to improve both developer and user experience.
Engage in all software development lifecycle phases from requirements analysis to post-release support.
Provide mentorship within your team of engineers.
