About the team
A core development team working on development, maintenance for base product team and multiple clients on Auto Finance
What you will be doing
• Responsible for component technical delivery (Design/ Build/ Test/ Implementation) of projects within agreed timescales and budgets
• Participate in requirement gathering/ component impact assessment of client requirements.
• Ensure high quality technical delivery with minimal post Live issues.
• Grooming & Mentoring of juniors in the team (Technical & Functional/ process improvements)
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Identify own development needs and proactively drive development of self/ team’s capability, using all available means, to maintain product superiority in the market.
• Ensuring that all change is designed and implemented using best practices
• Ensuring that all engineering reviews are completed and the introduction of change into the Production environment follows agreed governance processes
• Retain accountability for the product components and interface links with other applications.
What you bring:
• Mandatory 3-5 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS in Mainframe application development with good grasp in mainframe tools
• Must have good knowledge on Banking/ Lending Domain
• Systematics ALS experience would be an added advantage
• On-call production support experience would be an added advantage, but not essential to the role
• Agile Scrum experience would be an added advantage
• Willing to work in Bangalore
• Experienced with all major development and delivery phases and activities
• Has participated in the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple development projects
• Graduate from Technical background with positive attitude, self-starting, motivated quick learner qualities
• Sound logical reasoning & design experience with good troubleshooting skills is required.
• Ability to explore new age technology improvement/ automation is desirable

Technical Experience : Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM
Systematics ALS knowledge would be a value addition
Business/Product Experience in Auto Finance domain would be an added advantage
