Software Engineer | Full Stack Development

Key Responsibilities

• Be a part of the development of full-stack web applications using JavaScript and Python

• Architect, implement, and optimize MySQL databases for efficiency and scalability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Ensure the quality of the codebase through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices in software development

• Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and growth

• Design and implement APIs and integrate third-party services as required

• Continuously monitor and optimize application performance, security, and scalability

• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to guide architectural decisions

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 0-2 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on full-stack development

• Expertise in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)

• Strong proficiency in Python and back-end frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)

• Advanced knowledge of MySQL database design, performance tuning, and query optimization

• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture

• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

• Experience working in a mission-driven or non-profit environment is a plus
