Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications using modern front-end frameworks and back-end technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop high-quality software solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application and provide timely resolutions
• Participate in design and architecture discussions and provide recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Requirements:
• Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify and resolve them quickly and efficiently.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and one or more modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js .
• Familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• The candidate should have a strong desire to learn and keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Strong knowledge of web application security and how to prevent common attacks such as cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
• Familiarity with containerisation: Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with web application performance optimisation techniques such as caching, lazy loading, and code splitting.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices (A11y).
• Familiarity with internationalisation and localisation standards and best practices
