Role Summary Splunk AppDynamics, a leader in observability solutions for both cloud and on-premises environments, empowers customers with end-to-end visibility across their entire application ecosystems, cloud, on-premises, or hybrid. Our team is dedicated to developing, maintaining, and supporting SaaS and on-premises offerings within the observability product suite. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build upon our application and data platform as we continue to innovate on application observability. We move fast and iterate quickly. What you'll get to do Design and build highly scalable solutions. Work with a team of exceptionally capable and dedicated peers, all the way from engineering to product management and customer support. Design distributed systems which need to support high data volume, concurrency, resiliency and throughout. Create intuitive user interfaces and visualizations for complex data and workflows. Design and build features to enhance user experience, Develop reusable components for the next-generation UI platform. Design tools to visualize and handle large datasets effectively. Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution. Support CI/CD processes and automate testing for data systems. Stay abreast of emerging trends in big data, machine learning, and distributed systems to recommend innovative solutions. Work in an open environment, work together to get things done and adapt to the team's changing needs. Leverage technologies including Kafka, ElasticSearch, Docker, and Kubernetes across different cloud environments like AWS and Azure Must-have Qualifications 5+ years of full-stack development experience in designing and developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products, or services. System design concepts and working experience of low-level design and implementation for both front-end and back-end Strong Development Experience in Java programming language and related frameworks. Proficiency in developing user facing features using Angular/React Strong working experience in data structures, algorithms, threads, concurrent programming Proficiency of SQL and at least one relational database engine like MySQL/Oracle. Understanding of microservices design with expertise in Dockers and Kubernetes. Expertise in modern TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular Skilled in developing and maintaining large Single Page Applications (SPAs) Experience working with or building unified UI libraries Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed system environments. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities.
