About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, creative, and experienced individual to make a big impact across Gartner’s business as part of the Sales, Services and Corporate Delivery Integration Team. We are looking for an impact-driven, self-motivated problem solver who can lead numerous software development projects within the Integration Team. The integration projects will include development of applications, tools, utilities, wrappers, and API’s. You will have multiple opportunities to learn new technologies and get exposure to event driven architecture and development. This is a challenging technical position with many opportunities to learn, provide leadership and hone your development skills.
What you will need:
• 2-5 years of experience using modern programming language (Python, GO, Java, JS)
• Experience in developing and consuming Web Services REST and/or SOAP. Strong understanding of JSON usage.
• Efficient use of various design patterns such decorators, adapters, bridges etc.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure AWS (Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Autoscaling, EC2 & Lambda), Microservices architecture and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with Database platforms Oracle – PlSql, Microsoft T-SQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience with CRM Platforms Siebel & Salesforce is a plus.
