The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility. Developers may solicit customers for feedback regarding product usability and desired future enhancements. Software Engineers who design, write and test code for the product should be matched in the either Software Engineering Applications or Systems. Product developers who specialize in hardware systems should be matched to Hardware Engineering.

• The primary objective of “Software Engineering” specialization within “Engineering(PD)” Job Family is to design, develop, test and deliver software that meets our business and customer needs.
• Key responsibilities include: Design, develop and test software; Verify software behavior meets requirements through manual and automated tests; Deliver quality product within timeline; Document product design; Analyze, debug and help resolve customer issues; Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders required.
• Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
• Responsibilities might include:
• Performing routine professional-based activities (early in career)
• Contributing to and managing projects (mid-career)
• Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)
• Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Occasionally leads the work of project teams and might formally train junior staff.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience in Angular 8+ Version
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript and TypeScript
• A knack for creating reusable custom components and utilities
• Experience with GUI design for non-technical users
• Experience with full product lifecycle development processes in a software company
• Experience in building rich data-driven web applications
• Integration of third-party libraries/Apis & Dependencies
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)
• Proficient knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Experience documenting technical requirements
• Good knowledge of front-end interfaces
• Fundamental knowledge of UI/UX
• Knowledge of CI CD pipeline
• Strong Interpersonal skill

Good To Have
• Experience with Magic XPA & Pervasive SQL
• Experience with C#
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web Api
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Exposure to AWS Services
• Knowledge of Agile development approaches
• Exposure to Jira and Confluence

Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Excellent knowledge on front end design and development
• Passionate and opinionated about beautiful design with an eye for detail
• Applies functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems or execute specialized projects
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
• Strong OO programming knowledge, ability to incorporate in practice various software design & development fundamentals and best practices
• Knowledge of Web services, Cloud technology, messaging systems would be an added advantage
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Prior development experience in the Micro-service based Web Application would be preferable
