Job Summary As a Software Engineer II in the PM Controls & Stability team of the Corporate & Investment Bank business at JPMorgan Chase, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. Job Responsibilities: Working with global delivery teams to ensure the quality of development deliverable into production Clear analytical thinking and excellent communication skills Self-starter & ability to work in a team or autonomously when required Ability and willingness to develop technical SME and business knowledge Commitment and ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure & constantly changing environment Logging, analyzing, and managing queries, problems and incidents to resolution Understanding the impact of change in a complex technical environment Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 2+ years of experience in Python/Java with excellent analytical skills Experience of Geneos, Dynatrace or any other Monitoring or Application Performance management tools Experience of Scheduling tools (Control-M/AutoSys) UNIX Solaris / Linux RHEL, Windows server knowledge Perl/Shell/Batch Scripting Oracle /Sybase Excellent trouble shooting skills, Technical documentation skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies Exposure to cloud technologies
