Position: Developer Success support engineer, Bentley Developer Success
Team: You will be part of a global organization (Bentley developer success) with a very aggressive “start-up like environment” working toward phenomenal growth of iTwin Platform Services and Bentley Developer Network (BDN) and user relations. The iTwin Platform team at Bentley Systems has an exciting new opportunity for talented individuals to join us in developing cutting-edge software for infrastructure digital twins iTwin Platform is an open, scalable cloud platform that enables developers anywhere to create digital twin applications for the designers, builders, and owner-operators of the world’s physical infrastructure. Opportunity: As a Developer Success engineer, BDN, you will germinate & nurture Bentley's next generation of product Application development programming interface, you will work closely with Bentley software development teams, the BDN team, and users in our iTwin Platform and BDN program to improve the overall quality, supportability, and end-user experience with Bentley’s most popular APIs and SDKs. You are expected to coordinate globally with multiple development team leads, account managers, users, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Expanding Digital Twin outreach globally & exponential increase of users & partner network.
• Hands-on with Digital Twin services and development support.
• Working with Product Advancement teams and developing iModel.js programs on strategic products.
• Coordinating with the development teams working on Digital Twin development.
• Coordinating with multiple Product managers, Development managers, Champions from Product advantage groups and other stakeholders
• Creating/enhancing new 3rd party developer onboarding processes in the following areas:
• Enhanced API/SDK third-party developer experience and adoption
• Enhanced API/SDK code samples and documentation, for trending, useful, and necessary programming areas of interest
• Provide detailed procedural and training documentation to support consumers’ requirement
• Maintaining and managing Digital Twin learning & marketing content.
Essential Skills:
• Experience in programming languages like C++, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, Node.js etc.
• Software background of SDK, API, macro programming.
• Exposed to Bentley product and technologies e.g. MicroStation, ProjectWise, iModel etc.
• Excellent organizational, networking, and coordination skills.
• Superior communication skills and excellent presentation skills are required.
• Ability to achieve success with minimal guidance, based upon objectives.
• Willing to travel (domestic & international).
Qualification:
• 4 to 7 years of experience in industry and Bentley technologies.
• Bachelors/Master’s in IT/CS/Civil/Mechanical.
• Willingness to learn and adapt fast to new technologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication and strong presentation skills are required
