The role involves developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. The candidate must also be capable for coordinating with multiple stake holders to understand the business requirements of various Consumers in the Banking Domain environment. Exposure to Database Marketing, online marketing, web analytics and US/Europe Mortgage domain knowledge will be a definite asset. The candidate should have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated and pro-active.Responsibilities.The person in this role will be working as an individual contributor design and develop Java based solutions for different applications for the Consumers in the Banking Domain environment. The daily job activities would involve.Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications.Take end-to-end ownership including writing test cases.Impact Analyze and Create Low Level designs.Skilled at the ideation, design and deployment of Java and J2EE based solutions.Knowledge of data modeling, database design and the data warehousing ecosystem.Impact Analysis for Pre and Post implementation of changes in all process.Proficient working on DB2.Ability to support, triage and troubleshoot issues.Provide technical solutions and ability to learn new technology to fulfill the project needs and implement.Proactively track tasks to closure.Participate/Communicate/Host calls independently related to projects.Requirements.Job Title.Software Engineer II A - GBS IND.Education.B.E. / B.
