As a Software Engineer II - Automation Testing in WLT Tech team of Commercial Banking of JP Morgan Chase, your goal is to ensure that our applications work as they should and meet customers' needs. To accomplish this, you'll draw on your testing knowledge and creativity to automate test capabilities and design test and maintenance procedures and regression test suites. You'll also tap our existing test frameworks to tackle specific problems. We take a collaborative approach to quality, which means you'll work with experienced developers, managers and business partners across the organization.
Job responsibilities
Write automation scripts for features
Write backend API test scripts and UI Test scripts
Work with product, developers to understand the requirements
Create test suites for automation testing
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
Proven ability to write automated tests with Selenium or Cucumber with 5 + years of experience
Proven ability to work with Java Spring framework with 5 + years of experience
Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles and test automation strategies
Experience working effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
