Job Description
o Design, code and test critical applications using Python and SQL Server Database,
o Work with key stakeholders to ensure that application is functionally appealing.
o Liaise with BA\PM’s, desk and all key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations to translate into business solutions
o Provide highly efficient, scalable and high throughput design
o Efficient to maintain platform stability by actively dealing with production issues impacting business
o Adopt agile routines for software delivery cycles
o Produce high quality code and adhere to delivery timeline.
o Learn and adopt tech stack required to maintain, improve platform.
Requirements
Education
B.E./B.Tech/M.S./M.Tech with good academic scores from top-tier colleges/universities
Certifications If Any-NA
Experience Range- 4 -6 years
Foundational skills
• Experience in Python and cross-platform build environments:
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL server database
• Developing and maintaining cross-platform Core Java applications and their dependencies
• Keeping up with hardware and software upgrades and enhancements
• Experience in Python development is preferred
• Self-driven and work independently with minimal guidance
• Conversant with Linux Shell scripting, Makefiles, Microsoft Visual Studio, Git/BitBucket
• Should be able to read code and document logic & flow
• Familiarity/Experience with Enterprise File System (EFS) is a plus
• Knowledge of object oriented database
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to reverse engineer code.
• Able to grasp large and complex code base.
• Collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Innovative to build efficient technology solutions.
• Work experience in global delivery model - interacting with US/EMEA stakeholders.
Desired skills
• Work experience in global markets – equities Domain
