Benefits
Our pay range for a Software Engineer II position is $115,500.00 - $183,500.00
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location
In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant

Team members will receive six paid holidays per year
Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations
Responsibilities
In this role you will be a key member of a diverse engineering team that researches, develops, tests, and deploys scalable advanced industrial automation, robotic systems, and warehouse control system software to support the growth of Chewy’s fulfillment operations across an extensive network of fulfillment centers
You will work across a cross-functional team of hardware, robotics, and software engineers to introduce new automation technologies to Chewy's fulfillment centers
Design and develop software applications that integrate with advanced industrial automation and robotic systems
Partner with internal software teams to integrate with other automation and warehouse systems
Work with internal operations stakeholders to obtain system feedback and measure system performance
Develop modular, highly available, secure, performant, reliable, and scalable production-ready systems using the latest technologies available
Test concepts and features through simulators, emulators, and with live equipment
Leverage and champion best practices that enable automated test and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Software Engineer for its Fulfillment Automation Team with work locations available in Seattle, WA. In this role you will be a key member of a diverse engineering team that researches, develops, tests, and deploys scalable advanced industrial automation, robotic systems, and warehouse control system software to support the growth of Chewy’s fulfillment operations across an extensive network of fulfillment centers. What You’ll Do:

You will work across a cross-functional team of hardware, robotics, and software engineers to introduce new automation technologies to Chewy's fulfillment centers.
• Design and develop software applications that integrate with advanced industrial automation and robotic systems
• Partner with internal software teams to integrate with other automation and warehouse systems
• Work with internal operations stakeholders to obtain system feedback and measure system performance
