Minimum 5 - + years of software development experience
Technical Skills
• Programming skills: Good OOP/OOD knowledge to design and implement complex functional modules. Understanding of different algorithms, and experience selecting different algorithms to meet different business needs.
• Database design/optimization: Familiar with structured database design and optimization of complex SQL scripts/stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot & Solution Delivery: Ability to understand root causes to problems, and identifying potential solutions. Ability to follow through on a structured approach to problem solving.
• Technology Skill set: Minimum 5 years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, MS-SQL, jQuery, Entity Framework and frequently used design patterns/principles.
• Tools: Familiar with Microsoft design and programming tools, including Visual Studio, SVN, SQL Server Management Studio etc.
• Insurance Technology experience would be an added advantage

• Train & Coach Ability and willingness to train, research, and share knowledge with others.
• Building team relationships: Intermediate interpersonal skills. Experience cultivating relationships within and outside of departments and teams.
• Effective communication: Good English (both verbal and written) along with communication and collaboration skills within and outside of departments and teams.
• Project management: Ability to manage several concurrent activities while maintaining attention to detail. Experience being a technical lead in at least one greater than 6 month project which includes managing against deadlines, and clearly understanding business requirements.
• Customer centric: Ability to identify and propose solutions to client's complex problems. Meet customer’s needs through proactive proposal of technical solutions
