What's the role?
Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Design and develop automation scripts in streamline testing methodology with various test automation tools like Selenium and Robot Framework as needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies, track software test results in relevant tools/databases and provide timely solutions
Know how to build enterprise-grade products and systems
Analyzing user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Collaborate closely with functional team members and departments
Automate all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Design and Execute batches of automation test scripts and suites
Design and maintain Test Plan and automation testing documentations
Assist the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during testing phase and in production phase
Planning and co-ordination of testing activities
Build automation libraries supporting the test automation tool / framework with the objective to improve the testing process
Who are you?
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
2+ Years of experience in various test and defect management tools like JIRA, etc.
2+ Years of experience in various test automation frameworks like Robot, Selenium, QTP, AutoIT etc. is required
Hands On Experience With Java Is Required
Solid experience with quality assurance processes for embedded firmware that meets real-time, low-power, reliability, and security requirements, under hardware resource constraints
Solid understanding and experience with software engineering principles, work flows, and best practices in the automotive and/or infotainment domain
Hands-on experience with integration, bring-up, testing, and debugging of software on hardware platforms; familiar with lab equipment (such as signal generator, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes, etc.) for measurement and test automation
Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Pro-active on taking up new challenges by learning new tools and environments.
Excellent collaborative skills as well as confidence in written and spoken English
Analytical approach and problem-solving skills
