You Are:
Paychex is seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive technical contributor to help execute the strategic direction for the company. You have a “can do” attitude and proven extensive experience building innovative web applications using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
You'll Do:
• Build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
• Architect, design, and implement beautiful and pragmatic applications.
• Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project.
You'll Need:
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing and delivering web applications (RoR)
• Must have knowledge of Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (Backbone.js or Vue.js is a plus).
• Ability to develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.
• Ability to iterate quickly on ideas and push them out to customers in a continuous fashion.
• Enterprise industry experience in web based user interfaces, applications, and Web Service integration using APIs
• Knowledge of when to use existing libraries, and when to create your own.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills with the ability to present findings concisely and effectively
