Process Overview
Investment & Banking Solutions Technology team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and GWIM products catering to Consumer, Small Business and Preferred customers and GWIM clients. The products includes Credit Cards for Retail as well as Small Business customers, Deposits, Consumer Lending and Client Underwriting (including Vehicle Loans and Home Loans), Investment Products for GWIM and US Trust clients and Retirement products for Institutions. This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as .Net, Java/J2EE, Angular JS, Mainframe, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle
Job Description
Individual will be working as a Mainframe for Financial Planning applications in Wealth Management domain. He /She will be involved in development and maintenance activities as per Bank of America standards and guidelines
Responsibilities
• Work with offshore and onshore lead to develop code as per the project need and timelines
• Participate in dev review of design document and raise dev queries to relevant stakeholder
• Work with other teams as required for integration of code and fix the integration defects
• Create design specifications and Unit tests
• Maintain existing software systems as required
• Ability to learn new technologies and processes.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors in Computers
Certifications If Any:
Experience Range: 10 to 14 Years
Foundational skills
• Mainframe, Cobol, Strong Working knowledge of databases such as DB2, JCL,VSAM, CICS
• Good communication and Analytical skills
• Agile knowledge
Desired skills
• Tools like Endeavor, File Manager, BMC Utilities, Fault Analyzer, IBM debugger, SPUFI
• RDz (Rational Developer)
• Exposure to DB2 Stored Procedures.
