Software Engineer III
Job Description
The Software Engineer III is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of Concentrix's information business applications and technology initiatives, necessary to achieve the Company’s goals. Working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, the Software Engineer Services III works independently with complete latitude for discretion and independent judgement to develop software applications, provide post-implementation support, and participate in code reviews. Considered an expert contributor and a subject matter expert within the team. May mentor less experienced peers and provide coaching and leadership as needed.

The Software Engineer 3 is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of Concentrix’s information business applications and technology initiatives, necessary to achieve the Company’s goals. Working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, the Software Engineer 3 works independently with complete latitude for discretion and independent judgement to develop software applications, provide post-implementation support, and participate in code reviews. Considered an expert contributor and a subject matter expert within the team. May mentor less experienced peers and provide coaching and leadership as needed.
• 5 - 8 years of related software development experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred
• Excellent knowledge of software design patterns: Creational, Structural, Behavioral, and Concurrency
• Excellent proficiency with Java with spring boot, Microservices
• Excellent knowledge of source control processes and tools
• Excellent knowledge of the full software development life cycle, with exposure to agile or iterative approaches
• Strong ability to communicate with brevity and clarity, both orally and through written communication, to management and co-workers
• Passionate and motivated self-starter who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring only limited supervision
• Excellent logic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task, work efficiently involving multiple cross-functional groups
• Strong ability to negotiate and prioritize competing incoming requests while considering timelines and limited resources
• Software application development and support through design, development, and supporting business applications
• Complete development projects as assigned and according to schedule
• Adhere to best practices and standards in the areas of development, technology, and security
• Provide post-implementation support, including, but not limited to, monitoring application performance, and debugging existing code
• Participate in code reviews
• Define the design patterns used in code
• Coach junior developers
• Continually listen, observe, learn, question, suggest, challenge (respectfully), and teach
• Continually stay knowledgeable of emerging trends within the software development field and contributes to and influences best practices
• May mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed
