Position Summary...

Team is looking for Software Engineer III who can implement next generation Walmart suite of products keeping scalability, robustness and security aspects in focus. Provide support in building cloud-based applications and products to cater with various data requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
As a part of Enterprise Business Services within Walmart Global Tech India @ Bengaluru, who could work on building solutions for various business functions across multiple markets, your design and solution will have a significant impact on day-to-day running of Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, large number of users and data.
What you'll do:
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to understand priorities and deliver awesome products.
• Involve in implementation using technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
• Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.
• Work closely with the Architects and cross-functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting quality, speed, innovation and create impact
• Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams
• Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.
• Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns and configurations tools for faster development and deployment cycles
• You will work with engineering & user experience teams for design and technical feasibility discussions.
What you'll bring:
• 3+ years of experience in design and development of highly -scalable applications and platform development
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns
• Experience working on these technologies like ReactJs , Node JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience working with state management libraries like Redux, MobX
• Hands-on experience in Microservices, RESTful web services development in NodeJS
• Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, etc
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and writing robust Unit Test cases
• Working knowledge of SQL/No-SQL and database technologies (MySQL, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of any cloud platform solutions (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Exposure to architecture best practices (Cloud, Microservices, Serverless)
• Knowledge in deploying solutions on any of these cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and containerised ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure on Agile methodologies and DevOps
• CI/CD Automation experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins & Azure DevOps is nice to have
• Additional Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical & innovative solutions
• Willing to adapt and learn new/emerging technologies
