Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
• Technical lead responsible for accelerating application migration to AWS
• Building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for applications cloud infrastructure
• Building end to end continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for public cloud deployments
• Design and develop cloud resiliency patterns and automations to support application SLA/SLO's
• Setup observability and telemetry
• Participate in chaos engineering to test application resiliency
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Minimum 3 years of hands on experience with deploying and monitoring application in AWS
• Proficient with scripting and automation using Python, Bash and various scripting languages
• Experience with automating CI/CD pipelines from commit to deployments in cloud infrastructure
• Experience with building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, Cloud Formation, Sceptre and Ansible for various AWS services including EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDC and MSK.
• Experience with containerization including Kubernetes, service mesh and artifact repositories is a plus
• Experience with setting up observability including metrics, logging and alerting for applications running on cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
