Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, with in Credit Risk Team which is aligned to FRDC, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Develops scalable reports using Business Objects reporting tool
Strong Business Objects administration skills
Design, analyze, develop, debug and unit test for different application components
Strong Database skills to analyze/implement business rules via stored procedures, ETL tools, middleware, or other technologies.
Translating operational and business needs into technical solutions.
Knowledge of best practices/methodologies in Data Warehousing and Multi-dimensional data modeling (OLAP)
Develops, implements, refines, and supports a data warehouse used for analytics and reporting and optimizes processes while working closely with internal stakeholders
Acts a liaison between Information Technology and business units.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
7+ yrs of strong experience in Business Objects reporting including universe design, security management, BO report build
2-3 yrs strong experience in Tableau reporting
Strong Oracle DB skills, experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
Strong experience in writing and modifying complex SQL, PL/SQL codes including Packages, Materialize Views, Nested tables, Triggers, and Function
Expertise in any programming language (Java, Python, PLSQL)
Exposure to Cloud technologies like AWS S3, Redshift
Strong analytical, attention to detail, organizational and core project management skills
Strong understanding of the infrastructure, applications, hardware and software environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
Exposure to cloud technologies
