Job Description
Develops, configures, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May collaborate with Team members to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical and Functional knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement technical solutions Manage technical implementation tasks delegated by your Lead, to ensure work is delivered on-time and on-budget Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle Able to perform break/fix and enhancements, application development, maintenance, and production support Tracking and reporting service levels for application development, maintenance, and production support Able to do the root cause analysis on production issues reported by users Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve incidents/problems and outages of production environments. Respond promptly to incidents and escalate when appropriate. Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members on on-going basis
Requirements
Education :- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required or equivalent
Certifications :- If Any would be a value add
Experience Range :- 5+ years
Foundational skills
experience in mainframes Strong knowledge and working experience with Cobol, JCL, PROC Hands-on experience with CA7 for Job scheduling Experience with NDM and DTS tools for File transmission Experience with ENDEVOR mainframe utilities Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently, should be detail oriented, work in a team environment. Knowledge on HPQC or any Quality Center to work and on Defects. Working knowledge on Agile Scrum/ Kanban process as a Team developer. Assist business teams with creation of integration test cases and plans. Good Communication skills and Support project teams during testing.

• Jira and Quality Center knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge on REXXGood troubleshooting skills and be able to work in a team environment.
