As a Software Engineer III within PB Tech team of Asset and Wealth Management technology business at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, deliver and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions that enhance business capabilities and modernize technology platforms
Produce architecture and design artifacts while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Collaborates with business and technology partners in multiple regions and time zones to maximize value delivered
Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in scripting in shell environments with Bash
Proven experience in Data mesh architectures, Denodo platform.
Must have experience of all components of Denodo( Administration, VDP, Scheduler, custom views, caching, data catalog)
Experience in designing and developing models, defining, developing base views, derived views.
Experience in Jules/ Jenkins or other DevOps technologies, CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Working knowledge and experience of Denodo including cloud migration experience[AWS].
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining resilient and secure codebases in an enterprise environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Solid understanding of agile methodologies (such as Scrum/Kanban)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training, degree or certification on software engineering concepts
Exposure to cloud technologies
