As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase with JADE (which stands for JPMC's Advanced Data Ecosystem) aims to deliver a governed, market-leading, multi/hybrid cloud platform that makes our data findable, accessible, interoperable, and re-useable to drive the creation of BI- and AI/ML-driven products with agility and velocity. You will be joining a newly formed and energetic team responsible for delivering strategic UI/UX-focused initiatives across JADE Catalog - the firm's central data catalog (think Amazon but for data)
Job responsibilities
Contributing to high-profile initiatives, from supporting JP Morgan's transition to a Data Product-oriented organisation to rationalizing and integrating tools/capabilities across the wider JADE ecosystem.
Working with UX designers/researchers to develop prototypes, presenting to stakeholders and working with our dedicated engineering team to bring the product vision to life.
Communicate effectively and work closely together with business clients, technology teams, support partners and stakeholders to deliver and support business aligned solutions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of professional experience
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Senior React Front End or Full Stack Developer with experience in managing a small team
Experience using React, Bootstrap, SingleSpa, Webpack, Axios, Jest, React Testing Library
Proactively reviewing PRs, working closely with UX and Product team on refining requirements, Pair programming, discussing implementation details etc.
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices and a bility to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Basic AWS knowledge and good to have Java/Spring Boot experience.
Good to have experience in cloud technologies.
