Software Engineer III | Java Developer

You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world. Job Responsiblities • This position is for an Analyst for Fixed Income Technology group, part of the Investment Bank. • This is a hands-on technical role. The candidate should be comfortable working with Core Java, multi-threaded, complex, high-performance, techno-functional environment. • Should be able to design minor components, work independently and collaborate with global team members as required. • The candidate will be tasked with developing robust, scalable and maintainable applications. • Develop technical components as per JPMC technical standards. Enhance and maintain existing components and services. • Provide level-3 support to troubleshoot production issues and assist users with their queries Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Aptitude in application designing, development and testing for backend server development. • Knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Collections and multi-threaded programming skill. • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting and Hudson/Jenkins for deployment. • Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Experience with build tools ant/maven will be an advantage. • Experience with Investment Banking - Fixed Income domain will be an advantage JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
