Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, in the DIGITAL WORKFLOWSTeam which is aligned CTO OFFICE Team you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role..
Job Responsibilities
• Design, code, test, and deliver software leveraging firm-wide frameworks and best practices.
• Follow and enhance the scrum practices for continuous team processes improvement
• Collaborate with the Business Analysis team for producing estimates and agile delivery plans
• Mentor junior developers on their growth as professionals (technical and soft skills)
• Guide and inspire the team through technical issues and challenges
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or graduation from a reputed organization
• At least 4 years' experience in software development
• Proficiency in the programming languages: Java, SQL and PL-SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, shell scripting
• Fluent on the following areas: OOD, Design Patterns Test Driven Development, SOLID principles, Git, IntelliJ/Eclipse, event messaging (MQ, Kafka)
• Fluent on the following frameworks: Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular
• Working proficiency in development toolsets and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)
• Understanding of business needs, including how data is used and managed, and functional design
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goal
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Experience of working with ServiceNow is a bonus , in particular understanding of the ServiceNow data model
