Job Summary As a Software Engineer III in the Cloud Enablement team of the Corporate & Investment Bank business at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities Technical lead responsible for accelerating application migration to AWS Building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for applications cloud infrastructure Building end to end continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for public cloud deployments Design and develop cloud resiliency patterns and automations to support application SLA/SLO's Setup observability and telemetry Participate in chaos engineering to test application resiliency Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 3+ years of hands on experience with deploying and monitoring application in AWS Proficient with scripting and automation using Python, Bash and various scripting languages Experience with automating CI/CD pipelines from commit to deployments in cloud infrastructure Experience with building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, Cloud Formation, Sceptre and Ansible for various AWS services including EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDC and MSK.
Experience with containerization including Kubernetes, service mesh and artifact repositories is a plus Experience with setting up observability including metrics, logging and alerting for applications running on cloud infrastructure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
