Quality assurance engineer
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for the BPS Test team, you will define and execute tests for solutions by working with the newest tools and processes and will have the opportunity to work on international projects.
A week in the life of a QA Engineer:
• You will execute component, integration and system tests to verify the functional/non-functional requirements of solutions.
• You will test strategies by developing test plans and creating manuals and automated tests.
• You will analyze test results to track software failures using JIRA.
• You will collaborate with the customer on the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) phases.
• You will support ongoing work to automate and document QA regression testing by utilizing the corporate framework tool based
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• To succeed at this job, you must have: experience with SDLC; Agile or Waterfall methodologies; test techniques; common test and defect management tools such as Quality Center or JIRA; Webservices/API testing, automation and test tools such as SOAPUI,Selenium; communication protocols including TCP and HTTP and familiarity with basic UNIX shell and SQL commands; and Java programming language.
• Knowledge of Cryptography is preferred
• It would be preferred if you have an ISTQB® Certification – Foundation Level, basic knowledge of programming and scripting utilizing Java
• You must be fluent in English.

• You must have a Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.
