Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, with Credit Risk Team which is aligned to FRDC, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Lead development team responsible for creating web applications using React Library
Develop user interfaces for web applications using React library
Collaborate with UX design team to implement UI/UX designs
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
7+ Years of Proven experience as React Developer or similar roles
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related Web technologies
Experience with React and its core principles, including virtual DOM, JSX and state management
Familiarity with front end tools, such as webpack, Babel, npm or yarn
Solid knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and libraries (ex: Jest, Enzyme, and React Testing library)
Familiarity with modern frontend development practices, including module bundling, code splitting, lazy loading and caching
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend applications with backend services
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with python development is preferred
Full Stack experience is preferred
