Job Summary:
As a Software Engineer III within Markets-Equity Technology team of Corporate and Investment Bank , you will work in a dynamic, agile team to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you will be responsible for building critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives along with supporting the integration of our private and public cloud platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
Applies practical experience of Agile software methodologies
Writes secure and high-quality code using the React syntax with limited guidance
Executes standard software solutions, design, development, testing and deployment
Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of good user experience and technical implications
Applies technical skills to break down solutions and solve technical problems
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Strong in React UI, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON skills & solid hands-on background in JQuery, Node, Bootstrap.
Strong knowledge in testing tools for UI components like Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, Cypress etc.
Exposure to tools related to CI/CD (Jules/Jenkins), SCM tools: Bitbucket/Git, Application Resiliency, and Security
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, and testing
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Knowledge of software development techniques such as TDD/BDD
Familiarity with technologies, such as Python, Java, GraphQL, microservices
Familiarity with other modern front-end technologies
Exposure to cloud technologies
