Job Summary
A suitable Tableau developer in Global Investment Corporate Banking in Corporate Investment Banking at J P Morgan you will be responsible for developing and supporting end to end Tableau dashboards for Digital Investment Banking team at JP Morgan. Must have good understanding of Data warehouse principles and hands on experience on working Tableau. Ideal candidate will possess excellent Dashboarding skills including UI/UX and storytelling skills.
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to contribute in meeting business agenda. You should bring strong communication and comprehension skills, strong design and development experience and experience working in an agile environment with continuous integration and delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
Strong experience in requirements intake, analysis, design, modeling, development, quality assurance and support. Work directly with business users and analysts in comprehending business needs and creating appropriate data models and dashboards to meet requirements
Designing & developing user friendly, informative, and engaging dashboards using Tableau
Ability to write complex relational SQL queries to validate data quality.
Experience connecting Tableau to live and extract data including cloud data.
Experience converting ideas into quick prototypes for stakeholder presentation.
Implement best practices in delivering Reporting/Analytics Solutions.
Willingness to learn new technologies like ReactJS, .Net 6 & AWS
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
5+ years of experience working on Tableau
Experience with SQL variants for querying various database platforms (Oracle, Teradata etc.)
Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is required.
Able to work in an extremely fast paced environment
Experience with any of the additional BI tools (Cognos, QlikSense, BO) is plus
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Knowledge on AWS or any other cloud adoption would be good to have.
ReactJS /.Net skill-sets would be good to have
