We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:
• help shape the direction and delivery of a key strategic undertaking, supporting cross divisional needs
• work with business stakeholders and aligned technology teams to help transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions; understand, represent and advocate for client needs
• lead data and model preparation helping represent information cleanly and accurately, applying industry standards, open standards and internal standards where appropriate
• engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing and distributing data using the data ecosystem effectively (e.g., Domino, Denodo)
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assist in hiring talented data engineers and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities
Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Credit Risk Models stream team within CDIO in [MUMBAI] focusing on data and computing infrastructure to support model development in Credit Risk Methodology.
Your expertise
• proficient in Python or Java as well as good knowledge of SQL
• able to collect and combine data from multiple sources, analyze it for insights and gaps
• produce data query and analysis services to be leveraged by internal clients
• experience with Microsoft Azure products such as Azure Databricks, Azure Kubernetes Services – knowledge of Domino, Denodo would be considered an advantage
• Innovate and contributes to Development, DevOps processes and setup the optimal data science model execution environments including containers, library dependencies, orchestration, and execution pipelines
• capable of identifying model development requirements (data, infrastructure) in a clear way including ability of testing the received solutions thoroughly and in a meaningful way themselves
• curious to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate
options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• work with methodology business stakeholders to ensure the production model execution services meets the business requirements and future capacity projection
• self-driven, organized and detail-oriented
