About the role:
As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be joining our Video Entertainment team and will play a pivotal role in automating and testing, our solutions and products. You'll work as part of a dynamic and cross-functional team to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality deliverables. You will work on the latest technologies in the streaming industry and Your expertise will contribute to the innovation and enhancement of our solutions, ensuring our global customers have the best possible experience.
Your mission at Irdeto:
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand software requirements and design automated test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a robust and scalable automation framework.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Explore and implement AI-powered testing solutions to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Stay up to date with industry trends & best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.
How can you add value to the team?
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer in Test Automation or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python or JAVA.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pyTest, TestNG, REST Assured, JMeter).
• Streamline release cycles through increased test automation, simultaneously expanding test coverage and minimising manual testing
• Execute Regression, Performance and API testing for multiple OTT/CMS components
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of OTT domain concepts and technologies is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
