Software Engineer, Infrastructure Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to build innovative application experiencesImplement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologiesDevelop reusable software components for interfacing with back-end platformsAnalyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performanceLead complex technical or product efforts and provide technical guidance to peersArchitect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applicationsIdentify and resolve performance and scalability issuesWork on a variety of coding languages and technologiesEstablish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understandingMinimum Qualifications:Programming experience in a relevant languageBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experienceTrack record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnershipsExperience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniquesPreferred Qualifications: Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experienceExperience identifying, designing and completing medium to large features independently without guidanceExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or HackExperience designing, analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resourcesExperience owning a component, feature or systemExperience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changesExposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applicationsExperience in programming languages such as C, C++, JavaAbout Meta: Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
