We are looking for a passionate and driven data engineering intern to join our team. As a data engineering intern, you will work closely with our data scientists and software engineers to build and maintain our data infrastructure, ensuring that data flows seamlessly through our systems to deliver meaningful insights to our users.
Data Engineering Internship - Mobile and AI/ML experiences (Paid Internship)

We are seeking data engineering interns to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a hunger and passion to work on data and build helpful, joyful gaming experiences using the best AI/ML developer tooling available for mobile and web audiences. Picking up and learning new data technologies such as github copilot and using python, tensorflow, pytorch as well as the latest LLMs available would be available to you.
As a Data Engineering Intern at hushh, you will work with a team of experienced engineers and data scientists to build intelligent and scalable mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Work with the data science team to identify and implement data pipelines for modeling and analysis.
Build and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data-driven functionality into our products.
Develop data models and design schema for databases.
Optimize data performance and implement efficient data storage solutions.
Ensure data quality and consistency across all data sources.
Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data infrastructure
Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to implement AI and ML algorithms and models into our mobile applications
Implement and maintain data management and storage solutions for our mobile applications
Work closely with mobile developers to ensure seamless integration of AI and ML features into our mobile applications
Continuously improve and optimize our data infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability
Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and ML developer tooling available, including Git Hub Copilot, Python, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and the latest LLMs
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages:
Python, Java, Swift, or Kotlin
Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and SQL databases
Experience with AI and ML tooling and frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Keras, and Py Torch
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience working with databases and data modeling.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing.
Passion for building helpful, joyful, and engaging experiences for mobile and web audiences
Hunger and passion to work on data and learn new technologies such as Git Hub Copilot and the latest LLMs
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bonus points:
Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Understanding of cloud computing and distributed systems.
Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
