We’re looking for an IOS Mobile Engineer to help develop and test the PayPal UI Design System

We work closely with our design, content, and product teams to build, test, and iterate on new solutions to customers’ problems. And we push new features and enhancements to our customers regularly to make sure we’re giving them the app they expect and the experiences they deserve. We have dedicated teams to support our Continuous Integration, Quality and Release processes. All this results in your code being published in an update to the App Store at least once every 2 weeks.

Works with product, project, and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule that solve our customers’ problems
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.
Perform detailed analysis and technical designs, create technical documents and be active participate in design reviews.
Code, test, integrate, document and release software adhering to technical and quality standards
Develops and communicates technical processes, standards, and best practices to the team
Your day to day
Works with engineering teams to deliver products on schedule that solve our customers’ problems
Code, test, and release software adhering to technical and quality standards
Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults
Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications
Design/Architect test automation framework and develop new test automation libraries
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
What do you need to bring-
At least 3+ years of native iOS development experience.
Extremely comfortable with understanding and implementing internet application with REST services at the backend
Thorough understanding of XCode
Expert understanding of Swift and Objective-C
Experience to develop applications using Swift UI
Solid understanding of Cocoa Frameworks
Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code
Experience with animation, and implementing user interface designs
Knowledge of design patterns such as MVC and MVVM
Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins), application monitoring (Crashlytics, NewRelic etc), mocking tools (Appium and Apiary), build tool development and enhancements, using unit testing and cucumber tests for functional tests.
B.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science is desired
