About The Role
As a Software Engineer, you will design and build complex, scalable, extensible applications for the iOS platform, collaborating with across teams. Reporting into the team lead, you will recommend technical solutions within known scope and dynamic and imperfect requirements.

What You Will Do
• Design, building, testing and delivering complex scalable, extensible, high-performance applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, design and ship new versions and features with high focus on compliance, quality and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality delivery consistently.
• Proactively identify potential problems and application bottlenecks and work on resolutions.
• Publishing application on App Store.
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application.
• Operate effectively in a fully agile, fast paced, deadline driven, collaborative and iterative development environment.
Periodic
• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and define app features.
• Collaborate with the design team for better understanding of the mobile GUI.
• Mentor your junior and help them to achieve their targets along with your own routine work
• Work on a cross platform technology
Other
• Influence, advocate and guide best engineering ethics, standards and practices.
• Contribute to engineering tech sessions.
We'd Love For You To Have
• At least one year of experience in developing native iOS applications
• Demonstrated experience conceptualising, designing, building, and maintaining enterprise applications, reusable, and reliable code on iPhones.
• Experience of Apple's IDE Xcode, Cocoa, Adaptive and responsive designs
• Portfolio of released applications in App store
• Experience with OOP design principles
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party libraries
• Experience working with Git version control in a collaborative team environment, creating pull requests and performing code reviews.
• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development which includes the whole process, from the code to publishing in the store(s)
• Must know how to write Unit/Functional/End-to-End tests using XCTest
• Knowledge of architectural patterns— MVC, MVVM, and clean architecture and the ability to choose the best solution for the app.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Standardize the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
• Knowledge of Apple Certificates and Provisioning profile management and uploading build to the store
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Basic experience with continuous integration
• Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications.
• Have published at least 5 quality iOS apps per Apple standards with a good rating score.
Nice To Have
• Exposure to open-source libraries and frameworks.
• Experience in another Mobile UI frameworks and related technologies -PhoneGap/Cordova, Android, flutter etc
• Contribution in 3rd party open source libraries.
• Knowledge of near analytics or other analysis packages, A/B testing, Ad rendering platforms.
• Experience in Data Structures
• Knowledge of UI security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Working knowledge of web standards (i.e., REST) and OOPS
• Education: A First Class Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science and Engineering
