About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer...
In This Role, You Will
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications, International:
• Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ yrs. of hands-on IT experience in developing complex, highly integrated, web-based applications using Java, Spring MVC, Spring boot frameworks and worked in Agile teams.
• Considerable experience and hands on with Cloud Management and services pertaining to PCF or AWS/Azure/GCP
• 6+ years of JAX-WS, Axis, SOAP, REST Web Services development experience
• Well versed with services testing like JMeter and SOAPUI
• 5+ years of Oracle and SQL experience
• 3+ years of Micro Services and Cloud experience
• Should have work experience in Java Script(ES5 & ES6) ,Object oriented JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, React JS library, Responsive web development. Knowledge working with Node & GIT.
• Experience in implementation of Java, J2EE, and JS Design patterns.
• Experience in writing unit cases using Junit, RTL/Mocha/Jasmine/Jest libraries.
• Should be able to deploy the application in non-production environments on Linux platforms.
• Familiar and direct experience of Agile development and dev ops tools such as Jira, confluence, Rally and automated regression testing
• Should have worked on DEVOPS, CI/CD using GITHUB, MAVEN, Artifactory, UDeploy, Jenkins
Job Expectations:
• As a senior team member, ability understand the requirements, design documents and convert them into secure code by using Java/J2EE stack.
• Capable of providing technical solutions to the business problems
• Ability talk to different partners in understanding different systems and be able to negotiate and provide direction to business on technology and other partners.
• Understand the risks and make all the stakeholders informed of the risks, plan and mitigate them on a timely basis.
• Should have guided and mentored the junior team members in the technology.
• Troubleshoot and tune for performance
