Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
(Experience must be with relevant work in a professional setting)
Experienced in generating and reading State Machine, Logic, Flow, and Interconnection Diagrams
Experience creating software systems and prototypes for field deployable systems using fully customized designs, or adapter modules to connect to existing equipment
Familiarity debugging tools, compilers and code profiling
Experience with software version control tools such as GIT or SVN
Ability to communicate designs through presentations and be comfortable providing material for review
Skilled with C, C++ and debugging tools like GDB
Experience working with analog data acquisition and signal conditioning techniques
Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint
Ability to be onsite five days a week when required
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities
This position will support the design, development, testing and operational phases of projects undertaken at Peraton Labs, the research and development arm of Peraton
Additionally, developing software for embedded devices and modules to power, generate, and receive signals for prototypes and field-deployable systems is a critical component of this job
The ability to read, comprehend and generate professional quality design documentation as well as code is a required capability for this position
Designing, developing, and testing of Software for experimental and production systems
Providing Hands-on work to test software, document and fix bugs
Developing and reviewing documentation packages including Use Cases, Data Flow Diagrams, State Machine Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Test Plans
Developing embedded computing and digital signal processing designs and applications
Providing expertise in analyzing software and refactoring as needed

Responsibilities
